This album is the soundtrack to two beautifully vivid dreams I had two years ago:

The scenery begins on the steps of an inner city street where young, familiar children are playfully seeking attention. From here, the dream moves to a walk with a wise old friend who leads the dreamer into a hidden library, which then casts them deep below the surface of a dark, vast pool of water, where they slowly, gently rise until lifted above the surface of the pool and beyond into the clouds.

Dream two begins with a frantic assassination plot in an ancient arena, where the dreamer and their companions barely escape with a dramatic leap from a cliff into an aqueduct channel below. From here they float down the channel peacefully at twilight and traverse a beautiful, forested ancient city. Finally, the dream plants the dreamer into a dark brick building where a mystic order is training new inductees into its mysteries.
